It Takes a Village. Will You Be Part of Ours?
Two Years In. Now It’s Time to Build.
Feeding people is my love language. Welcome Home began in my kitchen as a promise to ensure no one faces postpartum recovery without a nourishing meal. For two years, I’ve been the chef, dishwasher, and driver—now, I’ve reached the limit of what I can do alone.
The Goal: We are raising $60,000 to secure a physical location, hire a second chef, and scale our marketing.

“Food was incredible! It truly tastes like love and care was put into these meals.... like what I would make at home if I were a much better cook :-). Great communication regarding food drop off as well.”
— Susan W“Welcome Home arrived when we were waist-deep in the newborn trenches, and I needed to watch my sodium intake. These nutritious, home-cooked meals made such a difference in our days and gave us one thing less to worry about!”
— Daniela S“I wish there were enough words to describe how incredible these meals were. Delivery was super smooth and everything came frozen. All meals were healthy, but also really delicious. My older toddler and I would share meals together! These were a God send on days where I didn’t have the extra energy to put effort into cooking.”
-Ara TWhy I am raising $60,000
Recently, I’ve been talking with investors and fellow founders to get their perspective on how to take Welcome Home to the next level. Their advice was clear: the most compelling way to show the world that this business is ready to scale is to demonstrate the support of my own community first.
This $60,000 Friends & Family round will be part of the first phase of our growth. These funds will allow us to:
Secure a Physical Location: Moving into a dedicated space designed for higher volume and professional operations.
Expand the Team: Bringing on another chef to give me additional help in the kitchen and allow us to serve more families.
Marketing: Investing in marketing efforts to increase awareness and bring Welcome Home to more homes.
By being a part of this round, you aren't just helping me grow—you are helping me show future investors that Welcome Home has a foundation worth betting on.
Ways to Join the Journey
Give a Gift
Any amount helps us reach our goal. These are direct gifts used to build our foundation. Every dollar goes directly into the growth of the business.
Become an Investor (SAFE)
If you want to share in our future success, I am offering a SAFE (Simple Agreement for Future Equity). This turns your investment into company ownership in the future.
The Plain English Version: You provide capital now; you own a piece of the company later.
Early-Bird Reward: It includes a Post-Money Valuation Cap. This acts as a price ceiling, meaning if the company's value increases significantly, you own a larger slice because you backed us first.
Investor Protection: In a sale or dissolution, SAFE investors are prioritized to be paid out before common stockholders.

What happens if we don’t hit the $50,000 goal?
We are moving forward regardless. This $50,000 represents the full vision for our first major expansion, but our growth is modular. If we don’t reach the full amount in this specific window, all funds raised will still be placed into our Phase 1 Growth Fund.
Is this tax-deductible?
No. Because Welcome Home is a for-profit corporation, these contributions are not tax-deductible.
What does the SAFE valuation cap look like?
We have set a Valuation Cap of $2,000,000. This ensures our earliest supporters get the best possible "price" for their future equity.
What states does the SAFE apply to?
This agreement is governed by the laws of New York.

Our Journey
Welcome Home is my heart and soul. For the last two years, I have built every single piece of this business—from the recipes and cooking to the website and deliveries—entirely with my own hands and personal savings.
I have been the chef, the dishwasher, the driver, and the CEO. I’ve taken this business as far as I possibly can as a solo founder, and I’ve reached the point where I can no longer grow without additional support. I’ve proven the model; now it’s time to build the infrastructure.
